Simultaneous (conference) interpreting
From the beginning of our operation, i.e. since 1999, we have been successful
as organisers of simultaneous interpreting during conferences, seminars and symposia.
Simultaneous interpreting during conferences or symposia requires the presence of interpreters of outstanding skills and qualifications. A simultaneous (in other words: conference, booth) interpreter must not only know the language into which he or she interprets, but also must have the perfect knowledge related to the subject matter of the conference run. That is why the condition of an interpreter’s co-operation with our Office is either a passed exam in front of Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) or a membership
of Professional Conference Interpreters Worldwide (AIIC).
The minimum number of interpreters rendering services during one conference is two persons replacing each other every 30 minutes.
But the success of a simultaneous translation is determined not only by interpreters, but also by appropriate equipment. We are able to provide you with the highest quality equipment for simultaneous interpreting, operating in the IR mode, Philips panel systems, audio equipment and equipment for multimedia presentations.
We are able to provide equipment for simultaneous interpreting for a small number of conference participants, and also for a conference with hundreds
of participants.
